You are cordially invited to attend Wonderfully Made: Technology for Patient Care, a digital conference unlike any other you’ve yet to experience! The 12th Annual Conference of the Canadian Federation of Catholic Physicians & Societies will be hosted online October 17th-18th via Hopin, a unique virtual event platform that prioritizes audience engagement and attendee experience.

This year’s conference will emphasize new medical technology that affirms the dignity and worth of human life at every stage. Our mainstage presentations include:
  • Patrick Vinay: Quelques pas sur le sable and Methadone Co-analgesia for Advanced Pain Management
  • Cory Andrew Labrecque: ‘Old and Full of Years’: Negotiating Ageing in an Ageist Society
  • Amalia Issa: Patient Engagement and Decision Making in the Era of AI and Precision Medicine
  • Catherine Ferrier: Planification Préalable des Soins
  • Pilar Calva: Integral Feminism, Human Sexuality and Artificial Procreation
  • Thomas Bouchard & Rene Leiva: How New Technologies are Transforming the Field of Fertility Awareness Methods
  • Mark Basik: Personalized Medicine in Cancer: Past, Present, and Future

In line with our core values as a Federation, each presentation will promote excellence in medical care in a context of fidelity to Catholic teaching, and will provide time for interactivity through question and answer periods, breakout sessions, and 1:1 networking opportunities to engage more deeply in the subjects addressed.

Not only will the conference include extensive, accredited content on the mainstage, but it will take virtual engagement to a new level with streamlined Q&A with presenters, curated breakout sessions, and 1:1 networking opportunities throughout the weekend.

Registration is $125 CAD for individuals seeking continuing professional development credits, and free for those who are not. Sign up today to secure your spot to see these exceptional talks.
